E-UCR

E-UCR is designed and built for the members of ULD Care and is available to ALL members to utilize. Where the service does not meet the need of the membership the ULD Care Board is there to represent every member and request a change to the services.

E-UCR Ecosystem

E-UCR is the renewed version of the ULD Care IULDUG software. Developed in the 1980’s IULDUG focused only on interline of assets between airlines.

E-UCR is designed to build upon the legacy and expand the visibility and control of assets to the other major parts of the ULD logistics chains including organizations such as Airline Managers, MRO, Leasing & Pooling organizations and freight forwarders.

The revised model revolves around the Airline Organization and the relationships they have with the other parts of the ecosystem. For an airline to have a relationship with another organization, i.e. a terminal handler, the the terminal handler must also be created as an organization with sub-orgs in a matching location. This allow airline A to have a relationship with Terminal Handler B in location = <Perth>.

Participation is the key to gaining insights to the ULD industry. As a service provided by the ULD Care industry body, e-UCR is able to develop insights to the industry only if the industry provides the collective data that allows for global analysis to be developed.

Through member using the service we can provide insights that relate to training needs, new asset reliability and established patterns and hubs that best service the industry. Changing the granularity of transfers to include the additional components like nets, straps and fittings can further improve reusability of components that today are regularly treated as consumables, reducing costs for airlines and providers.
